Classroom Management

Classroom Management

For a classroom to be safe, communicative, productive, and effective, it must have one thing above all else: superb classroom management. The classroom must be fit for all students. This means having flexibility and stability. All students have the right to a safe classroom, free of distraction. These are cemented by a strong classroom management plan.

My classroom management plan allows for all of these things by using broad rules, high expectations, and a caring environment. This approach is one I deeply believe in that works for most students of all abilities and allows for freedom and creativity that students will increasingly experience in their daily lives as they mature. My social studies classroom did not just prepare students to take a test. Instead I worked to help them build the skills and knowledge they need to better secure a successful future.

Below isĀ  simple and illustrative breakdown of my full management plan.
